Schedule for Photoshoot/ Organisation Table

The Photoshoot for my Magazine went over the November and December period. I captured the fireworks and snow in November/December which has led me to come to the conclusion that my Magazine can be issued for November. In this November issue, the theme could be festive- for Christmas and the fireworks and snow will overall enhance its attractiveness with the Images being very colourful and striking. I feel that creating a organisation table helped me in being organised and structured. I also knew what I was doing and when I would be doing it which generally meant that I would not be worried about the Photoshoots.

I am thankful to the weather as it could not have helped me anymore than by snowing to create the festive atmosphere and portray it through my magazine. I took full advantage of the three days our school was closed and took many pictures of the snow which I could use in my contents page or as backgrounds for my other Images.

Names For My Magazine & Analysis

I was confused as to what I should name my Classical Music Magazine so I decided to do a brainstorm of any random names which had a classical theme. I came up with ten names and shortlisted three which I would ask my potential audience and then decide on the final name.
Ø  Classique
Ø  Listen
Ø  La Musique
I then asked my potential readers and these were my findings:

‘La Musique’ was the winner out of the other three which is why I have decided to name my magazine: ‘La Musique’. I feel that because I have responded to the wishes of my respondents; then that would assist the magazine in selling well and people will buy it. This magazine is not about what I want, it is about what the classical music readers want inside their ‘ideal’ magazine and I have simply just put into practice what they want. This makes my magazine appeal to my target readers and should persuade them to buy my magazine rather than the ones already out there for example ‘Classic fM’.

Analysis Of Questionnaire- Q. 11

This question may not seem relevant but I thought that by asking this, I would get a real idea of how many of my respondents are ‘up to date’ with the technological advances. My results showed me that 80% of my respondents used atleast one social networking website which could assist me as I could place advertisements of my magazine on these websites. Moreover, like other magazines for example MUSO, my magazine could also have a Facebook page as 53% of my respondents used Facebook which would create an accessible form of knowledge of my magazine for the Facebook users.

Analysis Of Questionnaire- Q. 10

This question was as an open question: whether the Content is more important or the Images but after questioning my respondents, some felt that both were necessary which is why I had to add another bar to my chart. 47% of my respondents felt that the content was more important however they also felt that a good Image alongside the article would make it more eye-catching. I will consider this when making my own and will have a striking Image aswell as a detailed article to suit both issues. By doing this, I will be addressing both of my respondents requirements which will make my magazine appeal to both sides of my target readers.

Analysis Of Questionnaire- Q. 9

The majority of my respondents associated the colour ‘Red’ to the classical genre as a result of which the costume of my model featuring on the front cover is going to be red. The second highest votes were given to ‘Beige/Magnolia’ which is why my second model’s costume is of that colour. I followed the advice given by my respondents and brought the costumes of my models to suit the respondent’s decisions. I feel that this is necessary if I want my magazine to appeal to my readers and for them to purchase it.
