Analysis Of Questionnaire- Q. 4

I asked this question to picture what magazine I am up against! 33% of my respondents were reading ‘Gramophone’ which is a magazine which a person has to subscribe to.  This depicts that the majority of my respondents would rather subscribe to a magazine which has left me thinking whether my magazine should follow the same route. Moreover, four of the magazines were ones which you could not purchase from a newsagents or supermarket which supports my theory to have my own magazine available to subscribe for. However, this could limit my readership as other magazines such as ‘Classic fM’ are available from supermarkets therefore by restricting my magazine for subscription only, I may be paralysing my chances of people buying my magazine day in and day out. Also, because four of the five magazines are not available in supermarkets, my magazine could be for the shelves in newsagents’ aswell because of the lack of Classical Music magazines available locally. This could be a way of attracting the classical readers by making my magazine available to purchase locally.
