In my opinion, I felt the need to ask this question to get a sense of whether magazine competitions are significant enough to be mentioned in my own magazine. 83% of my respondents did partake in competitions which is why I will be featuring a competition/ contest of some sort in my magazine. This I believe will engage and attract my readers and separate my magazine from the other classical magazines in a newsagents or supermarket. My competition can feature on the front cover to instantly entice the readers or even the contents page. This will add a sense of excitement and act as an incentive towards buying my magazine.
